I don't dislike the Brahms 2,
I don't dislike the Brahms 2, but i find there is nothing striking about it at all 70-556. Its the same with his violin concerto. It all runs smoothly and you can learn to appreciate the musical texture but i want to hear the intro of a piece and think "Oh yeah!!!" instead of hearing all of a piece and thinking "oh very nice" 70-557. I personally think his d minor concerto is more clever but have to accept that 2 is commonly considered his best.
